I’m Sonia Himalaya, a British Indian voiceover artist and voice actor based in Somerset. I record from a broadcast-quality home studio or can work from a UK studio you nominate—whichever best suits your production setup and schedule.
ABOUT THE VOICE
My natural playing range sits comfortably in the 40s–50s bracket, with a native English RP that is relaxed and informal rather than clipped or Royal.
For character work, I cover roughly ages 5 through 70. Accent options include formal RP, Indian, Brummie, West Country, General American, Southern Irish, London street.

You can receive either raw or fully edited audio, recorded in my treated studio using professional equipment—or we can run a directed session in a facility you prefer. Remote direction is straightforward if you want to shape performance live.
I ask questions early. Not because I enjoy questionnaires, but because clarity produces better reads. I take direction easily, while still offering creative instincts when the script benefits from them.
Quotes are structured around a session fee plus usage, following established UK voiceover rate guidance rather than improvisation and guesswork.
Turnaround is usually within 24 hours for self-directed work. Directed sessions depend on scheduling, but raw audio is normally available within minutes of finishing. International bookings are arranged around your time zone, not mine.
Self-directed sessions typically happen within a day; directed bookings follow as soon as diaries align; pickups happen as soon as the microphone is switched back on.
Expect a professional, relaxed working experience. Friendly without being chaotic. Efficient without being clinical. I’ll stop there before this turns into a suspiciously glowing character reference.
